Fla Tigre

Fla Tigre …

Fla Tigre is a collective of dancers and musicians who seek to liberate body-minds through fierce hybridity in loving motion. Within the moving human body, Fla Tigre intersects the flamboyant vulnerability of flamingos and the predatory prowess of tigers, investigating how we can empower keen awareness with unifying grace? We immerse in dissolving limiting beliefs of opposing forces in a larger metaphor calling for the harmonization of internal ecosystems. When we forget we are nature, we lose sight of the endless complexity and hybridity of gorgeous natures we embody.

In a cosmic musical landscape, Fla Tigre embraces primal intuition and queer nature, dissolving binaries that lead us to believe we are separate, and advocating the dynamic, complex beauty that pulses within our unique interrelated natures. We are all hybridity in motion with the choice to break free from the inner confining patterns and constructs that keep us in opposition. Knowing our liberation is bound within, Fla Tigre is a physical-musical meditation devoted to processing a more liberated future.

We will be performing in the Seattle Butoh Festival | SAT., NOV 19th | @ eXit Space | NOD Theater | 1621 12th Ave, Seattle, WA
