Hello! Thank you so much for your interest in me and my work. ♡
I am a healing facilitator, somatic educator, and performance artist dedicated to the interconnection between body, mind, and spirit. For decades, I have been devoted to tending the energetic intersections of expression and movement with the experiences of mental and physical health. My dedication to my and your well-being runs deep and is rooted in a belief that we are all interconnected.
I am known for my powerful ability to manifest and facilitate sacred space for personal change and creative growth. For the last twenty years, as a movement practitioner, healer and experiential researcher of body-psychotherapy, I have studied and worked within the interrelationships between mind, body, and spirit. In my workshops and private practice, I offer compassionate guidance in the process of releasing old limiting patterns and becoming more empowered through intentional body-mind movement, breath, and ritual. I am honored to be a healing facilitator and to bear witness to the illuminating presence that manifests within the healing process.
For as long as I remember, I have considered myself a lifelong learner, dedicated to evolving and the scholarship of psyche and soma. I am a graduate of the Seattle School of Body-Psychotherapy, a Certified Yoga Instructor with over 2,800 hours of training, and a Movement-Integration specialist with a Masters of Art from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I am also a designated Master Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist with the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association (ISMETA). I am a peer editor for the International Body-Psychotherapy Journal which helps keep me up to date with international somatic scholarship. Since 1999, I have taught yoga, somatic healing, movement rituals and cathartic practices. It is in my lifeblood. I’m honored to do this work and to be a part of each person’s journey of transformation, empowerment, and embodied wellness.
As a performance artist, I have performed around the globe in spaces ranging from theaters in Russia to balconies in Guatemala, a graveyard in Mexico, desert plateaus in Southern Utah, forests of the Pacific Northwest, the streets of Seattle, and art galleries and theaters throughout the United States. Rooted in intentional movement as a mode of poetic intervention and connection, I weave my roots in dance, yoga, innate ritual, Bioenergetics and Butoh through all of my offerings. I am an active member and serve as the Hybrid Engagement and Support Director of the DAIPANbutoh Collective. When I was Utah based, I was a member of the Allen Gardner Dance Theater, studying Butoh, Wing Chun Kung Fu and Tai Chi Chu'an with Sifu Jerry Gardner. I am a long term student of Diego Pinon, and have trained with many other masters including Natsu Nakajima, Semimaru of Sankai Juku, and Joan Laage. As part of my commitment to body-mind integration and study, I continually train and collaborate with mental health professionals, somatic educators and creative wizards.
